Greenville Federal Credit Union obtained a community charter in 2001. This field of membership allows anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Greenville County to become a member. Membership is also available to relatives of members, as well as Company Partner employees and their families.
Membership in the credit union means that each member is considered part owner in the credit union and can attend and vote at the credit union’s annual meeting.
A volunteer board of directors oversees the credit union. These un-paid positions are elected each year at the annual meeting.
