Current Opening: AVP Branch Operations
Greenville Federal Credit Union is searching for an AVP Branch Services with a focus on Operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the assigned regional branches to ensure optimal branch performance and member service; the daily operations of the branches and maintain continuity of branch operations; approve scheduling requests of branch service employees and shift resources to properly staff branches and handle work flow; facilitate monthly branch manager and joint management meetings; oversee the Self-monitoring Program for branch services. The position is also responsible for directly managing a branch and overseeing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the branch; carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the credit union’s policies and applicable laws; assisting human resources with recruiting, developing, rewarding and appraising employees.
- Qualified candidates should possess at least three – five years of similar or related experience in the lending/financial industry and education equivalent to four years of college or an Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study. Candidates should also possess at least two years of management experience; the ability to communicate with internal and external members in a clear, concise, and professional manner with basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power point, project management and Outlook software; possess ability to think creatively, independently and accept responsibility; track record for working with and maintaining confidential and sensitive member information; and, proven ability to multitask and deliver on commitments in a highly results-oriented environment.
- Maintain eligibility and ability to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System.
- Preferred financial experience working with a credit union in a management role.
