Current Opening: Full-time Teller Manager
Greenville Federal Credit Union is searching for a full-time Teller Manager. Focus is on ensuring that the teller operations area provides superior member service by handling all member requests to complete resolution in a courteous and timely manner. This position is responsible for creating and managing teller staff work schedules and approving timecards for direct report tellers. This includes coordinating time off requests, working with approved budgeted hours, and assigning floating tellers temporary assignments; supervising the express teller line and assisting teller balancing to ensure that all daily functions are performed according to service, performance and operational standards; work with Human Resources in teller recruiting, coaching, attendance tracking, and development opportunities on a regular basis; regularly observe and monitor tellers for adherence to voice, service, and efficiency standards, coach and develop as needed. This position is also responsible for assisting the AVP Branch Services with all branch and student branch training needs as requested and maintain thorough knowledge of all branch operations, policies, procedures, products and services are also required. Creating, testing, writing, and training branch operational procedures as needed. This position will be expected to prepare and provide weekly summary of activities and schedule for current and future weeks; responsible for ordering cash, monitoring cash levels, overseeing month-end reports and managing ticket and gift card inventory for all branches; responsible for the vault custodian duties and locating teller outages as needed. Additionally, this position is responsible for working with auditors on questions & policies; opening and closing the branch according to procedures; overseeing all maintenance on the building and branch technology/equipment; and, ensuring proper security procedures are followed to secure, cash, negotiable items and credit union property.
Qualified candidates should possess at least one to three years of similar or related experience in the teller operations area and education equivalent to two years of college or an Associate’s Degree in a related field of study. Candidates should also possess previous management experience and the ability to communicate with members in a clear, concise, and professional manner with basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook software.
