Current Opening: Graphic Designer
Greenville Federal Credit Union is searching for a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team. This position will report to the VP Marketing and Brand Strategy. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for planning and creating targeted member-focused collateral across multiple communication platforms (print, web, email, video, presentations etc.) In this role, the designer will create, maintain and implement various internal and external marketing touchpoints that adhere to the credit union’s established brand guidelines. This role will also be responsible for the coordination of collateral production, including preparing final designs for production, checking and color, copy, text, and scaling images for print production. The ability to conceptualize and bring projects to life in print, digital and video format is required. Strong team collaboration, as well as the ability to take a project and execute to completion will be essential to success in this role. Besides applying strong design aesthetic and technical skills, the Graphic Designer will work to ensure that day-to-day creative updates and changes are executed within the highest quality standards, applying best-in-class production and post-production techniques.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with major course work in fine arts, graphic design, marketing or business administration is preferred, along with 2-3 years of commercial graphic design experience. The equivalent combination of education, training and related work experience may be considered.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well as Microsoft Office Suite of products; strong project, organizational and time management skills; excellent communication skills; the ability to carry assignments to completion through the formulation of creative solutions while demonstrating a strong understanding and adherence to corporate brand guidelines and style; knowledge of the latest social and digital media design trends and tools; the ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline pressure; strong proofing skills and attention to detail.
