We are recruiting for an Accounting and Electronic Services Manager to report to the VP of Finance and Accounting. This position is responsible for maintaining a highly motivated staff and ensuring effective support to both internal and external members; overseeing wire balancing, corporate settlement accounts, bill pay reports and SWBC reports; completing surveys, providing statistics and financial data to senior management; updating and working with vendors and senior management to set up new payment and electronic services/products; updating and managing Fraud prevention Rules for VISA debit cards; reporting quarterly statistics to VISA for principle membership; administering payment and e-payment systems related to accounting and electronic services to include SWBC, IP Capture, ICAPs, FEDLine, VISA gift cards, mobile capture, mobility and mobile wallets; trouble shooting issues on our core processor, online banking mobile apps and banking systems; maintaining inventory for debit/ATMs, credit cards, disclosures and teller checks; overseeing posting/maintenance and balancing of GL accounts; and, month-end balancing for all branches, Accounting and Electronic Services. This position will also be responsible for backing up the VP of Accounting and Finance for bill posting, invoices, and adjustments; producing month-end reports and GL maintenance.
Qualified candidates should possess at least one to three years of similar or related experience in the accounting/finance arena, preferably in the financial industry and education equivalent to two years of college or an Associate’s Degree in a related field of study; or, an equivalent combination of both. Candidates should also possess the ability to communicate with members in a clear, concise, and professional manner with advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook software. Knowledge of financial terminology and reports is also required along with at least one year of management experience.
