Greenville Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for a part time System Support Technician I for the Information Technology department. This position is responsible for maintaining a schedule of volume, folder and file storage for Document Management System—assessing space needs, timing of folder/file/record creation and deletion; adhering to record retention requirements; performing as MRP administrator which includes: deleting old projects following record retention requirements; consolidating existing redundant projects; streamlining the different types of tickets; and, troubleshooting all MRP issues; providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to the intranet, document management system, electronic forms, and other computer systems and software as assigned; and, performing as ShareSpace administrator which includes: adding/deleting content as requested; creating assessments and acknowledgements; providing participation metrics for assessments to managers; uploading mortgage rates; handling email reminders and notifications; uploading Knowledge Base articles; uploading videos as requested; creating/updating users; creating forms; and, maintaining SS: removal of old exams, forms, employees, etc.; posting announcements, pictures, events, calendar, anniversaries, birthdays.
Additional responsibilities include respond to queries either in person or over the phone; writing training manuals; training computer users; maintaining daily performance of computer systems; responding to email messages for customers seeking help; walking internal members through problem-solving process; and, installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software. Position will require approximately 25 hours per week.
Qualified candidates should possess minimum of 2 years of similar or related experience in the IT field; minimum education level equivalent to Associate’s Degree from a technical college or university; or a equivalent combination of education and experience along with working knowledge of Microsoft servers, MS Exchange Servers, VWWare, MS Outlook Troubleshooting, HP or Dell Hardware Troubleshooting/Support, Windows 7/XP Troubleshooting and overall IT department operations. Additionally, qualified candidates should have a good understanding of Network Concepts and Windows Server Administration; ability to write reports and correspondence; think creatively and independently; multitask and deliver on commitments; and, ability to learn and become proficient in a broad range of functions relative to the policies, procedures, and maintenance of the credit union’s LAN.
