Greenville Federal Credit Union and The Greenville News announced Jason Hurdich as the October 2023 "Community Hero" honoree. Hurdich is recognized for being a powerful advocate and mentor for the Deaf community in Greenville and beyond.

The credit union is pleased to recognize Hurdich for his work to bring an understanding of deaf culture and his dedication to improving the inclusion of deaf individuals into the greater Greenville community.

They can be a student or a young child or a retiree, etc. The selected "Hero" will be profiled in the Greenville News and receive a certificate and award from the credit union.
