Credit union announces Lauren Hill and Jan Craig Olinger as the May "Community Heroes."

Greenville Federal Credit Union and The Greenville News announced Lauren Hill and Jan Craig Olinger as the May "Community Hero" honorees. Hill and Olinger are recognized for helping save the lives of hundreds of sick, neglected, abused and/or abandoned animals.

The credit union is pleased to recognize Lauren Hill and Jan Craig Olinger for working tirelessly on behalf of Upstate Foster Link to help rescue and find homes for abandoned or neglected animals in the Upstate.    

A plea for nominations.  
Do you know an unsung hero? Each month nominations will be collected for candidates that work in health care, public safety, education, the military, nonprofit agencies and the business world, the religious sector, entertainment or athletics. They can be a student or a young child or a retiree, etc. The selected "Hero" will be profiled in the Greenville News and recognized at a County Council meeting.
