Greenville, SC – Greenville Federal Credit Union held its 50th Annual Meeting on March 8 at the Westin Poinsett Hotel at 4:00 PM. Special guest speakers included Dr. Burke Royster, Superintendent - Greenville County Schools, and John Radebaugh, President, Carolinas Credit Union League. Attendees learned about special 50th Anniversary events and activities planned throughout the coming year. The credit union also revealed a special community grants program as part of its 50th Anniversary celebration.
The Annual Meeting is open to all Greenville Federal Credit Union members and provides an opportunity for credit union management and elected officials to share information and updates with its member-owners. It is also the members’ opportunity to participate in one of the main differences between a credit union and a bank—to vote for their Board Members while receiving an annual financial report of the credit union.
