Greenville Federal Credit Union completes major investment and renovation project with Wade Hampton Branch

by Matt Tebbetts

Greenville, SC – Greenville Federal Credit Union is celebrating the completion of its Wade Hampton Branch renovation with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting event Monday, January 22. Media is invited to tour the facility and experience the new member service model from 11-2 PM.

The newly renovated Wade Hampton Branch is the last and final of all four branch locations to undergo a major overhaul and investment for Greenville Federal Credit Union. The credit union acquired land adjacent to the existing building where the new drive-up teller facility resides. This facility not only addressed safety and parking concerns, but now offers four lanes and an ATM lane for fast transactional service for its members.

With a new facility, new floor plan and expansion of the existing building, cosmetic changes and the use of integrated technology, the credit union is providing a much more member-focused delivery system.

“Our goal with this new service model was to provide more options and reduce wait times to create a better overall experience for all members and visitors,” said President Paul Hughes. “Our member-owners expect great service from the credit union. We think they will feel very welcome and impressed with this new service model and branch design. And we hope the community will feel as proud as we do with the many improvements we made with our property.”

The Wade Hampton Branch Grand Opening Celebration will begin at 11 AM and last through 2 PM. Tours will begin at 11 AM with a Ribbon Cutting at 11:45 AM. Lunch will follow.
